CCLP Worldwide is an international organization of Education Charter having special consultative status with United Nations Economic and Social Council [1]and institutional membership with UNESCO NEQMAP [2] and UN Academic Impact [3]. In the year 2003 CCLP Worldwide was formally registered in Kolkata City as an International Non-profit organization. It has an executive secretariat office in Kolkata, India. The position of Chair of CCLP Worldwide is shared by three educators located in India, Switzerland, and Brazil. [4]

History
Whereas, during a gathering of likeminded people at Assembly April 1999, held in Kolkata City, The then Chairperson Ms Anjana Singh proposed the founding of a worldwide network of likeminded people for the greater good of humanity, and subsequently initiated, and provided support for the formation of Global Society for this cause and formed Global Civil Society, CCLP Worldwide. The formed entity was proposed to be regulated by the charter of the Society. Apr’ 4, 1999 In May 1999 the members of the Council have adopted the UN Declaration of Higher Education for the twenty-First century as their core founding principles. It was decided to have Kolkata as its head office. The Global Civil society movement has seen a history of 20 years (1999-2019). This advocacy was projected at an international level and the universal declaration of UNESCO towards higher education for the twenty-first century was adopted as its core founding principles of the charter.[5]
Organizational Hierarchy
The supreme body of CCLP Worldwide is the International Council chaired by Chairpersons. Under International Council sits the World Council of Ambassador. The World Council of Ambassadors is composed of City and State and national level Ambassadors. The annual membership meeting is composed of all members of CCLP Worldwide. The Secretariat office is run by Secretary-General under the guidance of the International Council.
Activities
a) The main campaign of CCLP Worldwide is Education Charter International.[6]
b) The publication section publishes various journals, articles, magazines, and books. The Education Charter is a quarterly Educational magazine published by CCLP Worldwide
c) The research papers are published regularly in various journals and books of CCLP Worldwide.
d) It has developed various training and educational modules on the e-learning platform. One of the training modules is Nest Methodology [7] [8]
e) It has supported the establishment of Saraswati World School
f) The team of CCLPW had created the United Nations RIO+20 Conference Logo in Hindi. [9]
International Partnerships and Collaborations
a) Memorandum of Understanding for an international collaboration framework agreement between the College of International Management “Globus” and CCLP Worldwide the International Organization of Education Charter.[10]
b) CCLP Worldwide has an institutional membership with the World health organization - PMNCH [11]
c) It has an academic and technical co-operation with EDU Inter-governmental Organization [12]
d) It is registered as an international organization with United Nations Volunteering.[13]
e) It has got institutional participant status with the UN Global Compact. [14] [15]
f) CCLP Worldwide is registered with Transparency Register, European Union [16]
g) CCLP Worldwide has collaborated with Saraswati World Foundation in the area of Health and Yoga[17]

International Conferences
The international seminar for Human Development was organized with Assam University on 18-20 March 2013.[23]
Research Undertaken
1. Recently the organization has undertaken research on the delivery of Quality Education at the primary, secondary and post-secondary levels. The research was conducted on 60 CHSE affiliated schools and based on the Good school rating format 25 best schools were chosen. The research brought key findings which are well described in the video.[24]
2. Subsequent Research was based on Good School Ratings devised by CCLP Worldwide on 10 points matrix. Each School has been allotted a score for each of the matrices to come to the final score. The research team of CCLP Worldwide has studied 16 affiliated schools operating in Hooghly in West Bengal.The Google ratings and reviews, websites of schools, third party sites and claims of top schools, CBSE data were taken together to arrive at the final score.
